Dara Pharma reinforces its commitment to the Japanese market at Interphex Japan

Last week, Dara Pharma participated again in Interphex Japan, the leading trade fair for the pharmaceutical packaging sector in Japan, held within the framework of Interphex Week Tokyo, one of the most important events for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry in Asia.

Many Japanese companies from the pharmaceutical industry attended the event, bringing together a good number of attendees over the 3-days of the exhibition. On the other hand, there was very little presence of European manufacturers, and Dara was one of the few that exhibited productive equipment at the show.

At the booth of its agent for the Japanese market, Steri Japan, Dara exhibited its filling and closing machine for vials in nest with Taisei Kako caps, model NFL/2-PC. The equipment grabbed the attention of many visitors since, among other advantages, it has been specifically designed for placing this type of cap widely used in Japan, which allows the insertion of the stopper and the aluminum capsule in the same device. In addition, Dara also exhibited the SX-50 SpeedFill tabletop machine and the LyoMicron freeze dryer, which were also of great interest to the public.

With its participation in Interphex Japan, Dara Pharma reinforces its presence in Japan with local technical service, consolidating its position as the only manufacturer with the capacity to manufacture and integrate complete lines with filling, freeze-drying, and isolators.

The presence of Dara Pharma’s Commercial Director and Area Manager allowed optimizing the management of the developing projects for the main pharmaceutical companies that attended the event. Thanks to this, everyone left with a very good feeling after visiting Dara's booth, especially those interested in equipment for purposes such as R&D, clinical trials, and vaccine production. This latter one is the most important trend in the Japanese market today.
