Successful participation of Dara Pharma in Achema 2018

Dara Pharma’s participation in Achema 2018, held in Frankfurt from June 11 to 15, turned out in a huge success, once again. At the most important trade show for the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, with more than 3,700 exhibitors from 55 countries, Dara has presented a wide range of innovative equipment and processes, showing its great technological competence.

The exhibited machines covered different solutions for aseptic filling, as for example: a compact machine for eye drops, model SX-220-OR; the high-speed equipment for the filling and closing of vials, model HSL-PP, totally controlled by servo motors; and the more than outstanding Moduline ™, compact and modular equipment integrated into isolator for multiple cytotoxic applications.

In addition, visitors could witness Live Demos of different processes related to the syringes treatment, such as debugging, automatic delidding by a robot, filling and closing followed by the plunger rod insertion and labeling operations.

But, undoubtedly, all eyes were on the NFL / 2 By-pass machine, the innovative concept for double chamber syringes and cartridges. Although dual chamber drug delivery systems are recent in the pharmaceutical market, Dara Pharma can now offer equipment for productions of up to 5,200 uph and in compliance with cGMP and US FDA regulations.

Achema 2018 finished for Dara Pharma with important agreements and new contacts, guaranteeing that more technological advances will be presented in the next edition in 2021.
