Dara establishes itself as a leading company in the PDA Japan Chapter

Recently, on September 14th, Dara participated in the Pre-filled Syringes Seminar in Tokyo along with our agent for the Japan market, Steri Japan. At the event, organized by PDA (Parenteral Drug Association), Dara presented two complete lines for powder dosing for double chamber syringes and cartridges.

The first of these two solutions fills the double-chamber cartridges with liquid for subsequent freeze-drying, and the second line processes the syringes with powder dosing.

Dara's Commercial Director, Joan Mele, explained at the event how powder dosing extends the shelf life of the processed product and when the powder is freeze-dried, the product’s properties, potency, reconstitution time and shelf life increase even further.

Thanks to a visual educational presentation, both on-site and virtual attendees were able to deepen their knowledge of this dosing technology for pre-filled syringes. The use of combination products is becoming more and more widespread globally, including in the Asia-Pacific region, and has become one of the drivers of current progress in healthcare.
